The complex is situated in the northern suburbs, close to the main route into Hobart. From the Spirit of Tasmania, or any norther location, look for the Derwent Entertainment centre (DEC) as you enter Hobart and turn right at Elwick Road then first right into McGough street.

From the airport head towards Glenorchy on the left hand side as you leave the Tasman Bridge and follow Brooker Highway northward. From the Ampol petrol (service) station head towards Hobart, take the left lane to Glenorchy on Tasman Bridge. Drive northward on Brooker Highway, drive a few kilometre through the only roundabout and turn left at Elwick road, then first right into McGough street.
